I am a board member of Recovery Dharma and Buddhist Recovery Network. I attained a M.A. in Religious Studies with a focus on Buddhism. My research interest is in Buddhist psychology's application in Western psychology. I am currently getting a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Southern Illinois University. I started my sobriety from alcohol when I was 19 through the help of Buddhism. However, it wasn't until December 2019 that I realized that I had other addictions besides alcohol. Since then, Recovery Dharma has been a refuge and community for me.
