BREAKOUT ROOM for Sober Parents & Caregivers (How To Take Care of Ourselves While Taking Care of Others)

Thanks to Recovery Centers of America for sponsoring this session!

This is a room where you can participate and share.

Amber, Jen, and Erin will hold a conversation about how they navigate their recovery and mental health while also having others depend on them as primary caregivers.

Each speaker will bring a unique perspective to the breakout session and offer experience and expertise on the following topics: the loss of a loved one; co-parenting and divorce; the exploration of queerness and gender identity; the continuous ways recovery changes over time; boundaries with loved ones; and talking to our kids about addiction and our needs as humans beyond being parents.

Questions and shares from attendees are welcome during this safe and confidential space.

Recovery Centers of America is an award-winning and fully accredited drug & alcohol addiction treatment provider with locations along the East coast and Midwest. RCA answers the phone & accepts patients 24/7. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, call 1-800-RECOVERY for help.
